Sinopse: An omnibus of three short stories revolving around three generations of a single family. 'Father'--Myeong-hie's mother becomes the fourth wife of Park Han-seob at a time when it was legally possible to have more than one wife. However she finds herself treated as little more than a maid. 'Hope'--The rapid developments in society are marred by political turbulance which causes Mi-ran to become a student activist and permits her brother, Jeong-min, to enter into a homosexual relationship 'Family'--Jeong-min, having grown up without a father, seeks comfort and love from other men.
